Hyundai Inster, the small SUV with the qualities of a larger one.

The Ioniq is the new star of the Hyundai brand! It takes the shape of a small urban SUV and is determined to shake up the competition. Will its fun style and clever interior be enough to make a mark in the European market?

A design that stands out.

One thing is for sure, the new Hyundai Inster looks unlike any other city car. At 3.82 meters long and 1.57 meters high, its compact dimensions offer great maneuverability. The Korean model can park easily, even in tight spaces. Its cheerful and rounded look, 17-inch wheels (standard on the Creative trim), steel-look protection skids, and roof bars highlight its charming and adventurous personality.

The Inster gives the impression of a little toy on wheels, sparking the desire to take the wheel and set off on an adventure!

A practical, fun, and electric Inster !

Exclusively available in 100% electric (a hybrid version could be coming soon), the Ioniq comes with a 42 kWh battery as standard, equivalent to 97 horsepower, offering a range of 327 km on the WLTP cycle. A more powerful 115-horsepower variant, with a range of 370 km, is also available in the lineup.

The standout feature of the Ioniq is undoubtedly its interior space, which is impressive considering its compact size. Its highly clever modularity allows the front seats to fold flat, enabling the loading of items up to 2.20 meters in length. At the back, the rear bench can slide 16 centimeters to prioritize either legroom or boot space.

Competition and price of the Hyundai Inster.

The Ioniq enters one of the most competitive segments of the European market: electric city cars. It will face off against the R5 E-Tech, as well as the new Fiat Grande Panda Electric, which is nearly 20 centimeters longer than the Hyundai Ioniq.

The coming months will be crucial in determining whether success is on the cards. It maximizes its chances with an attractive starting price of €25,000, excluding the environmental bonus. Let’s bet that its appealing design and modularity will help it quickly find its target audience, particularly among drivers with a primarily urban use!
